ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL: TO HIGH HOPES AND HIGHER SPIRITS!!

Its been a while since ive written, and as all that jazz about op amp filters begins to filter out of my head, I thought there couldnt be a better time to restart, although at this point of time, I havent an inkling what I'm going to write about. The only thought whizzing in my head is that barely a month to go for that promised land, Dubai.

A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since my journey in this illustrious(?) college began a good 2 years ago. What has transpired since then has been a life changing, metamorphasizing roller coaster ride that will lead me to explore horizons that I havent dared to imagine. An abysmal GPA, shameful extra curriculars, and lack of interest in anything related to my coursehave led me to believe that I will not be building on my memorable stint with technical education. The strains of a mesmerizing Pink Floyd guitar solo drift through my hurricane ravaged room, that one sentence will suffice to sum up my entire second year. As Dave Gilmour makes his Fender Stratocaster talk, I have become Comfortably Numb! Bad joke, but pretty pertinent.. Gaining the benefit of retrospect, this year has instilled in me a voracious passion for the food of love, Music.. The amount my eardrums have borne this year is more than most people's have in a lifetime! Acads have suffered and with one monh left for the end of the year, the scope for providing a facelift to my grade card looks bleak. The even semester has been "chill" srictly in the academic sense, although my "royal" friends, I have a vague feeling, will disagree..The weather has been sultry and humid for the most part, dampening my scholarly leanings a tad.. Although its nothing but a meek excuse.. Watched 3 major indi-rock bands in concert, Parikrama(got around to it), Silk Route(Sunk without a trace) and Euphoria(Euphoric).. Strings is the only fish left in the bowl and though they are playing down in manipal, shelling out 200 bucks to finance an office bearer's car somehow doesnt seem like the perfect investment, although winning 350 bucks for sucking cock at a debate made it worth my while!!
As Gilmour's guitar simmers to a crescendo and my 'pulse' races, its all been worth it..There have been a lot of mishaps and lessons have been learnt, a lot has been accomplished and tonnes more is left to achieve, but its never too late. Acads will "come back to life" next year, but thats what they all say!! All the preceding statement will become by the end of next semester is just another sentence on just another post on another of the plethora of blogs dotting the landscape(for lack of a better word) of cyberspace.. Here's hoping I'm wrong..

ENCUMBERED FOREVER,BY DESIRE AND AMBITION
THERES A HUNGER STILL UNSATISFIED
OUR WEARY EYES STILL STRAY TO THE HORIZON
THOUGH DOWN THIS ROAD WE'VE BEEN SO MANY TIMES...

P.S:Vishi, this post is dedicated to you and to avoid the risk of committing blasphemy, Dr. Rajkumar, the thespian for whom any amount of deification is miniscule..Bow before your master o mere mortals, for you cannot act for nuts!! Shine on you crazy diamond...:-)
